Terms of Service

Entity: OCCAZA EVENTS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED Effective Date: 17 April 2026

In short

  • Occaza provides technology and marketplace access; you deliver the services and honour Confirmed bookings.
  • You must be 18+, legally able to contract, and compliant with licences, tax, and safety obligations for your categories.
  • Listing cancellation policies you select (or custom tiers) are binding on your Confirmed bookings subject to law and Occaza’s minimum fairness rules.
  • Occaza may change these Terms with notice; continued use may constitute acceptance where permitted. Material changes may require renewed acceptance in the app.
  • Payouts are subject to fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and holds during disputes. Booking request fees paid by customers are Occaza platform charges and are not your service revenue or payout line items.
  • Use our grievance channel for disputes before courts as described below.

Key definitions

  • “Platform” — Occaza Partners-facing apps, sites, and tools.
  • “Occaza Partners” / “you” — the business or individual offering services through the Platform.
  • “Customer” — end user booking through Occaza.
  • “Confirmed booking” — the customer has completed service payment (and any other required steps shown in the system) and the booking is confirmed for fulfilment. Customer payments labelled as booking request fees are separate Occaza charges and do not by themselves create a Confirmed booking for payout purposes.
  • “Listing” — your service page including cancellation policy and pricing.

1

Acceptance

By registering for or using the Occaza Partners App (“Partners App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Occaza Partners Terms”) with OCCAZA EVENTS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED (“Occaza”, “we”, “us”). If you disagree, do not use the Partners App.

2

Scope of platform

Occaza is a technology marketplace. You may list services, receive Bookings, manage pricing and availability, set cancellation policies, communicate through permitted channels, and receive payouts subject to fees, deductions, taxes, and compliance. You are the service provider unless we expressly state otherwise.

3

Occaza Partners eligibility

You must: be legally competent and 18+; have authority for yourself or your business; provide true registration, tax, banking, and KYC information; and hold required licences, permits, and insurance for your services. You are solely responsible for lawful operations.

4

Occaza Partners account

Maintain accurate profile, tax, bank, and contact information; secure credentials; do not transfer accounts without approval. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

5

Service listings

Listings must clearly state category, description, service area or travel radius, inclusions/exclusions, pricing and extras, taxes if applicable, lead times, availability, setup/teardown needs, cancellation and rescheduling rules, deposits (including venue security deposits where applicable), and customer obligations. No misleading, hidden, or unlawful content.

Occaza may review, approve, suspend, or reject Listings or individual services before or after publication, require changes, or apply locks or restrictions (for example while edits are pending). You must supply accurate descriptions, minimum media where the Platform requires it (including photographs and, where enabled, video), and cooperate with reasonable verification. Only approved Listings may appear to customers as the Platform configures.

For venue or similar categories, you must disclose security deposit amounts and conditions before the customer pays, and cooperate with deposit handling (including assessment and release) as described on the Platform.

6

Pricing, taxes, and charges

Set correct prices. Disclose all material charges upfront (travel, peak fees, overtime, cleaning, deposits, etc.). Surprise charges after confirmation are prohibited except for customer-approved changes or clearly labelled variable components in the Listing. Quotes (including GST breakdowns) that you send through the Platform must be honest and consistent with your Listing where applicable.

Occaza may display GST or other taxes as required at checkout or on invoices. You remain responsible for your tax filings; Occaza may provide statements or withhold amounts as required by law or agreement.

7

Bookings and confirmation

A booking is Confirmed when the customer completes required payment and status shows confirmed. You must honour Confirmed bookings except: illegality; force majeure; customer material breach; proven pricing/technical error; or platform safety decisions.

8

Fulfilment obligations

Deliver as described; be timely and professional; meet safety and hygiene expectations; comply with venue rules and permits; avoid discrimination and harassment. Failure may trigger refunds, penalties, suspension, or removal.

9

Area and location

Accept only what you can reasonably service. You handle travel feasibility, permits, access limits, and local restrictions.

10

Customer communications

Use Occaza channels where required. Do not solicit off-platform payment for on-platform Bookings, bypass fees, misuse contacts, or harass customers.

11

Payments, fees, and payouts

Occaza may charge platform fees on your service revenue at the rates and in the manner shown in the Partners App, statements, or checkout flows (including GST on the platform fee where applicable), together with payment processing, promotions, penalties, and other applicable taxes. Platform fee percentages or amounts may change; current terms are as displayed in the Partners App—you are responsible for reviewing them.

Customers may pay Occaza a separate booking request fee (and applicable taxes). That fee is an Occaza platform charge, is not your service price, is not credited to your payout as service revenue, and is not forwarded to you unless the Platform expressly states otherwise for a specific programme.

Payouts may be scheduled, partially withheld until completion, or adjusted for refunds, chargebacks, disputes, coupons, or penalties. Occaza may delay or hold payouts for fraud, complaints, or verification.

12

Listing cancellation policy and platform fairness

You must attach a clear cancellation policy to each Listing (including tiers where used). That policy governs customer refunds for that booking unless mandatory law or Occaza intervention requires otherwise. Occaza may reject, amend, or override policies that are misleading, hidden, unlawful, or grossly unfair, or where fraud, safety, or service failure requires it.

13

Occaza Partners cancellation and rescheduling

Cancelling a Confirmed booking without valid cause may result in full customer refund, payout reversal, strikes, visibility reduction, or termination. Rescheduling needs customer consent where applicable.

14

Customer-initiated cancellation

Governed by your Listing policy, category, timing, and whether work or materials have started. Occaza may administer refunds and request evidence of costs incurred.

15

Refund liability

You may be liable for refunds or credits where you fail to deliver, materially misrepresent, arrive late or not at all, deliver deficient work, lack required permissions, cause negligent damage, or double-book.

16

Complaints and disputes

Cooperate with investigations; provide invoices, proof of service, media, timestamps, and communications. Occaza may place holds or issue refunds/penalties while reviewing.

17

Prohibited conduct

No fake reviews, booking manipulation, false documents, unlawful or unsafe services, IP infringement, misuse of customer data, sanctions violations, bribery, or abuse.

18

Sub-Occaza Partners and staff

You are responsible for employees and subcontractors as if they were you. Ensure they follow these Occaza Partners Terms and data protection obligations.

19

Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your uploaded content but grant Occaza a non-exclusive licence to use it to operate, promote, and support the Platform. You warrant you have rights to all content.

20

Suspension and termination

Occaza may suspend or terminate for breaches, complaints, fraud risk, poor fulfilment, regulatory issues, non-cooperation, unpaid fees, or reputational harm.

21

Intermediary role and content

Occaza is an intermediary. You are responsible for Listing content. Occaza may remove content or accounts that violate law or policy. Report issues to support@occaza.com.

22

Disclaimer

Occaza does not guarantee minimum bookings, revenue, uptime, or customer fit.

23

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Occaza’s liability relating to the Partners App is limited to fees Occaza actually earned on the specific disputed booking (excluding indirect/consequential loss to the extent allowed).

24

Indemnity

You indemnify Occaza and its affiliates against claims arising from your services, listings, non-compliance, injuries, tax issues, IP claims, data breaches caused by you, or breach of these Occaza Partners Terms—as permitted by law.

25

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure due to events beyond reasonable control. Occaza may coordinate fair outcomes (credit, reschedule, refund) for impacted Bookings.

26

Changes to these Terms

We may update Occaza Partners Terms with notice through the Platform (and email/SMS where used). Material changes may require renewed acceptance. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where law allows.

27

If unresolved, courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh, India shall have jurisdiction, subject to non-excludable rights under law.
